Johnnie Faye Wilson

Johnnie Faye Wilson, 92, of Guin, Ala., passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026, in the Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Guin. Born Nov. 7, 1933, in Beaverton, she is the daughter of the late Roy Leslie and Nettie Florence Gosa Perkins and the wife of the late Mogene Wilson.
She had lived in Guin most of her life and was a graduate of MCHS. She retired from Guin Manufacturing and loved working in her flowers, her garden and her yard. She loved sitting on the front porch in the swing. She was a member of the En Avant Study Club, the Red Hat Society and the First Baptist Church of Guin.
She is survived by her daughter, Rita Sanford (Eddy) of Fayette; a son, Mike Wilson of Sweet Water, Ala., two grandchildren, Che' Gay and Nicholas Wilson; and three great-grandchildren, Sarah, Ava and Reed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mogene Wilson; two sisters; and two brothers.
Funeral services were held on April 26, 2026, at the Veal Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Guin City Cemetery. Bro. Shannon Knight officiated.
