The Journal-Record recently received correspondence from Center for Best Practices in Law Enforcement Director Kaleb Littlejohn of Jacksonville State University, a UPACE Partner.
“On behalf of the University Partnership for Alabama Continuing Education and the Alabama Association of Chiefs of Police, I take great pleasure in announcing that HPD Chief Jordan Carter has completed 240 hours of training in the ‘Certified Law Enforcement Executive Program,’” Littlejohn noted. “This is the highest level of achievement that is awarded through this program.

HAMILTON — The Hamilton Police Department, with assistance from the Hackleburg and Bear Creek police departments, as well as the Alabama Department of Corrections (DOC), arrested Rickey Brandon Reno after he escaped from work release on Tuesday morning, April 16.

HAMILTON — Jerald Goodwin, 38, of Hamilton, was arrested and charged with felony attempting to elude on Friday morning, Feb. 9, after leading Hamilton, Hackleburg and Franklin County police on a lengthy pursuit.
