Bettye Robison

Mrs. Bettye Lou Perry Robison, 86, of Winfield, passed away on Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, surrounded by her girls in the Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Guin. Bettye was born on Jan. 1, 1939, in Winfield, to Redus and Willie Tucker Perry.
Bettye was a member of the Winfield First Baptist Church and a 1958 graduate of Winfield City High School. She was employed with Reltoc Manufacturing in Winfield until its closure and later with State Bank & Trust of Winfield in the bookkeeping department until her retirement. Bettye loved the Lord and telling others about the gospel. She loved cooking, her family and spending time with them, and was famous for her homemade divinity candy.
Bettye is survived by her daughters, Myra Ehl and her husband Bill and Sandy Vaughan and her husband Marty; three grandchildren, Brooke Wallace (Justin), Jonathan Burleson (Erin) and Erika Higgins (David); three great-grandchildren, Payton Wallace, Evan Burleson and Mallory Burleson; her siblings, Ann Dodd, Wanda Rasnic, Diane Waddell, Doris Sipper and Steve Perry (Holly); and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Basil Robison.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Hospice of Northwest Alabama in Winfield and Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Guin.
Funeral services for Mrs. Robison were held on Oct. 14, 2025, at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
