No more dumping at Munsingwear

HAMILTON — The Marion County Emergency Management Agency is urging residents to sign up for the newly implemented EMA alert system using smartphone technology.
Since the launch of the new alert system at the start of June, Marion County has had 510 residents registered to receive important updates and are now looking for more to register.

MARION COUNTY — The Marion County Emergency Management Agency has officially launched its new telephone-based mass notification system county wide on Wednesday, May 4.
The EMA began taking sign ups for the new program EMA Director Eric Terrell has been pushing for since his arrival in the position a little over two years ago.

Storm shelters still operational

HAMILTON -  Marion County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) Director Eric Terrell stated that all community storm shelters are still fully operational during the COVID-19 curfew set by Marion County Probate Judge Paige Vick on March 30.
After the storms that took place on the weekend of April 10, Terrell informed the Journal Record that storm shelters were fully operational and contained hand sanitizer and masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
