MARION COUNTY — A fast-moving storm passed through Marion County on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024, dealing some damage to a few homes and knocking out power in parts of the county. Marion County was placed under a tornado warning that night, which was issued by the National Weather Service at 9:48 p.m. after radar detected rotation.
