Louise Lundy Mills, 93, was born on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 1932, in Marion County and passed from this life into glory on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026, surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
She had a great love for growing vegetables but was best known to love to pull up weeds any time she was home and had the chance. She had a great love for family, friends and a willing heart to help anyone in need. She was a fun loving lady and enjoyed family get togethers in a home filled with talking and laughter.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Randle (Gail) Mills, Amelia Batchelder and Daryl (Anita) Mills; her grandchildren, Stacy (Ward) Brasseal, Jacklyn (Brian) Howell, Riley (Mary) Mills, Tara (Mike) Skropka, Christopher (Kim) Mills, Britney (Benjamin) Sullins; and Jessica Mills; her great-grandchildren, Casey Mills, Cameron Cantrell, Haston Howell, Raden Jones, Mackenzie Howell, Ben Howell, Grayson Kizzire, Odin Sullins and Iris Sullins; sister-in-law, Fannie Lundy; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Flavors and Irene Lundy; husband, Iris Watson Mills; brother, Dalton Lundy; sisters, Eloise Petty and Lucille Lundy; and son-in-law, Stephen Batchelder.
Funeral services were held on Feb. 25, 2026, at Marion County Funeral Home.
