Ava Morgan Estes, 95, of Winfield, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, at Fayette Long Term Care. She was born in Alabama on Feb. 26, 1930, to Lester Chambless and Maudie Hollingsworth Chambless.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, June Ramsey; son, Dewayne Morgan; grandchildren, Darrell Ramsey, Wade (Shannon) Ramsey, Scott Morgan (Jesi) and Misty Kimbrell; great-grandchildren, Gracelyn (Price) Gentle, Millie Ramsey, A.J. (Maggie) Kimbrell, Jackson Kimbrell, Ally Scott Morgan, John Asher McMillan and Liam Ramsey; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, N.J. Morgan and James Estes; parents, Lester and Maudie Chambless; and siblings, Alexander Chambless, Aubrey Chambless, Audrey Perry and Allison Chambless.
Funeral services were held on Dec. 15, 2025, at White’s Chapel Church of Christ with Bro. Scott Baggett officiating. The interment followed at Heritage Memorial Gardens.
