Barbara “Carol” Ferrell

Barbara Gail (Carol) Ferrell, 78, of Fulton, Miss., passed away on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025, at Meadows of Fulton. Barbara was born in Alabama on Sunday, Feb. 9, 1947, to Hubert Mitchell and Betty Oliver Mitchell.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons Rickey Pannell (wife, Bettie) and Rodney Pannell (wife, Tracy); grandchildren, Greg Pannell, Amanda Stidham (husband, Rod), Ashley Miller (husband, Jeremy), Jason Sanders and Valerie Kiddy; great-grandchildren, C.J. Pannell, Ryleigh Clarie Stidham, Riggs Stidham and Lela Sanders; brothers, Danny Mitchell (wife, Bonnie) and Bruce Mitchell (wife, Karen); a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Betty Mitchell; husband, Edward Ferrell; son, Lonnie Ray Pannell; brothers, Eddie Mitchell and Mike Mitchell; and sister, Sue Shelton.
Funeral services were held on Feb. 20, 2025, at Marion County Funeral Home in the chapel. Interment followed at Love Joy Cemetery.
