HAMILTON — After years of planning and preparation, including publishing legal notices and jumping through various associated hoops, real estate developer D. Tyler Harris heard the words, “You’re zoned!” spoken by Hamilton Mayor Bob Page.
The approval by the city council on July 15 means Harris can move forward to firm up his plans for the construction of the Ivory Wood Heights apartment complex in Hamilton off Bexar Avenue East.
Approximately 23 acres of land was approved to be rezoned from FAR (Forestry, Agricultural and Rural Residential) to R-2 (Multi Family Residential) for the purposes of building non-government subsidized apartments.
