Tall sunflowers delight couple

Barbara and Charles Wiginton of Hamilton enjoy growing sunflowers in their garden every year. Charles noted, “We grow them at the edge of the garden for looks and because the birds like the seeds, but we’ve never seen any grow this tall before. They’re usually about head-high or six-feet-high, but these are nearly twice as tall as I am.” Charles said he did add some Miracle-Gro® to the soil, and uses it “on about everything.”
