Mrs. Betty Sue Rawls, 83, of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 08, 2022, at her residence.
She was born in Guin on May 04, 1939 to Wyman Tarwater and Adelue Nix Tarwater.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wyman and Adelue Tarwater; siblings, Milton Tarwater, Patsy Tarwater, Shelby Webster, Linda Tarwater Dorothy Zuber, Bevy Tarwater and Billy Joe Tarwater.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Robert (Bob) Rawls; children, Randy Rawls (wife, Tammy) of Hamilton, Mark Rawls (Claudis) of Calera, Bryan Rawls (wife, Tammy) of Hamilton, Misty Stidham of Hamilton; Jason Rawls (wife, Ruby) of Hamilton; grandchildren, Zach Rawls, Chris Rawls, Karlie Rawls, Destiny Tice (Drew), Blake Inman (wife, Lauren), Brodie Stidham; adoptive grandchildren, Biance Huff (husband, Jacob), Adriana Rawls, Gabby Rawls, Alison Rawls, Kimberly Washburn, Heather Suggs; adoptive great-grandchildren, Samuel Huff, Mariana Dunlop, Olivar Park, Natalie Carroll, Paisley Carroll, Riley Holland, Hannah Rose Washburn, Ava Suggs and Willie Suggs; sisters, Janice Ingle, Rebecca Hubbert of Winfield; brother, James Tarwater of Guin; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Her funeral was held on Nov. 10, 2022, at Marion County Funeral Home with Pastor Shane Stidham officiating. The interment was held at Brilliant Memorial Cemetery.
A special thanks to Pastor Shane and Kim Stidham, Amedisys Hospice nurses and doctors at NMMC in Hamilton and for everyone that kept us in their prayers with special mention to Caines Ridge Baptist Church in Fayette and Stanley Crowell.
