HAMILTON -  Marion County District 2 Commissioner Kenneth Cochran called a prayer meeting with the Marion County Commissioners, Hamilton Mayor Bob Page, Marion County Courthouse staff and other members of the community on Friday, March 20, in front of the courthouse in Hamilton.
Cochran called the prayer meeting to pray for the county and the entire nation concerning the sudden outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus).
“This is something that’s going on that’s beyond our control. What we’re dealing with here is worldwide and the only one I know that can do this is God,” said Cochran. “I can’t stand people being in fear.”
Cochran and commissioner Bobby Burleson read scriptures before holding a prayer.
