Carla Lynn Woods, 53, of Hodges, passed away on Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, at Brookwood Medical Center. She was born in Haleyville, Ala., on Aug. 29, 1972, to Carl Taylor and Linda Edwards Taylor.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Joel Woods; son, Ethan Woods (wife, Chasity); father, Carl Taylor; mother, Linda Dempsey; granddaughter, Aubry Woods; sisters, Amanda Knotts (husband, Gary) and Courtney McNeill (husband, Landon); brother, Michael Duke; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Funeral services were held on Dec. 6, 2025, at Hodges Convention Baptist Church, with Bro. Cayce Harrison officiating. The interment followed at Old Line Cemetery.
