BG Manufacturing opens in Brilliant

BRILLIANT — BG Manufacturing held a ribbon cutting on Thursday, Oct. 16, to celebrate the opening of the new manufacturing business.
Local, county and state leaders joined together with the owners and employees of BG to tour the plant, located in the former Stone Canyon facility. Attendees included State Representative Tracy Estes and State Senator Garlan Gudger.
According to BG’s Facebook page, “BG, built on a firm foundation, proudly serves Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisiana, Texas, Georgia and Arkansas with high quality manufactured and modular homes.”
Bobby White, the owner of BG (short for But God, a reference to Bible verses such as Ephesians 2:4), said that he was beyond excited at the opportunity the facility and the Town of Brilliant afforded.
“It’s extremely exciting today,” White said. “It means more than you know. We’ve got an amazing project going on, and we’re excited to be in Brilliant.”
