Candace Ingram; running for Hamilton City Council Place #4

HAMILTON — I’m Candace Ingram, and I’m excited to announce I’m running for Hamilton City Council – Place 4!
Hamilton isn’t just where I live — it’s where I’ve grown up, raised a family, built my career and found purpose in serving and loving others.
I’ve been married to my wonderful husband, Greg, for 17 years, and we’re the proud parents of two amazing young adults: Kylie and Charlie.
Family is everything to me, and I believe the values we teach at home — integrity, respect, compassion and hard work — are the same values that should guide our community leadership.
I was raised as the daughter and granddaughter of first responders, giving me a deep appreciation for the people who keep our city running. As an adult, I’ve also experienced the business side of city government — and I’m committed to serving with a full understanding of both perspectives.
I’m a member of Hamilton First Baptist Church and currently serve as a board member for the Hamilton Area Chamber of Commerce. I truly believe in being active and involved in the heart of our town.
I began my career in banking and finance in 2005 at SouthTrust Bank and have continued working in mortgage lending with Land Home Financial here in Hamilton. This experience has given me a strong foundation in understanding economic growth, financial responsibility and what it takes to support working families and small businesses.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work with many inspiring individuals who have helped shape my leadership and business skills. I want to take that same passion and experience and give back to the city that’s given so much to me.
As your city council representative, I’ll focus on:
• Supporting local businesses and economic development;
 • Encouraging transparency and accessibility in city government;
 • Promoting smart growth while preserving Hamilton’s small-town charm; and
 • Standing up for employee rights and citizen needs.
Hamilton is growing, and I want to help shape that growth in a way that honors our heritage and secures a bright future for the next generation.
I’d be honored to earn your support and your vote. Together, we can build a better Hamilton.
