Scott Robertson; running for Hamilton City Council Place #5

Scott Robertson, for Hamilton City Council Place 5

HAMILTON — My name is Scott Robertson, and I am proud to be a lifelong resident of Hamilton. I graduated from Hamilton High School and have deep roots in our community.
I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart, Denise, for nearly 30 years, and we have three children—Valarie (married to Tayten Lann), Natalie (married to Joseph Cox) and Bryson Robertson—as well as one granddaughter, Ady Lann.
I own and operate Robertson Trucking, one of the largest flatbed trucking companies in Northwest Alabama. I’m also an active member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where I serve as a deacon and treasurer. My dedication to family and community drives my passion for public service.

A vision for progress
My agenda is focused on economic development—bringing new businesses, industries and housing to Hamilton.
Over the past five years, you may have heard the phrase “Why Not Hamilton?” That spirit of possibility is what motivates me to keep moving our city forward.

Retail,
manufacturing
& housing

Strategic development along I-22 is critical. Exit 14 features a 200-plus acre industrial park and is already positioned for retail growth.
I also see significant potential at Exit 7—an untapped opportunity waiting for the right vision.
Housing remains a major need, and I bring informed ideas to the table after five years of hands-on experience in city leadership.

Infrastructure
A reliable water infrastructure is essential to Hamilton’s future. In the coming years, we must allocate more city resources while also pursuing state and federal funding to ensure sustainability. Significant progress has been made, and strong planning is already underway.

Let’s keep Hamilton
moving forward

Your vote matters. Re-elect Scott Robertson for Hamilton City Council Place 5—a proven, committed leader working for a stronger, more prosperous Hamilton. Let’s keep building a city we’re all proud to call home.
