Billy Wayne Porter

Mr. Billy Wayne Porter, 44, of Winfield, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025, in the UAB Medical Center. Billy was born on Aug. 28, 1980, to Lloyd Sr. and Lorene Black Porter. Mr. Porter was employed for many years with NTN Bower Corporation. He later owned and operated his own flooring business before moving on to Clayton Supply where he worked until his passing. In his spare time, Billy enjoyed fishing, hunting, entertaining and spending time with his family and friends.
Billy is survived by his children, Devin Wallace (Lily), Austin Wallace (Courtney), Autumn Porter and Kameron Warren; grandchildren, Blakely Wallace, Marley Wallace and Waylon Wallace; siblings, Lloyd Porter Jr., Jessie Porter, Rhonda Fullen and Genia Porter; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents, Glocus and Diane Porter.
Funeral services for Billy were held on Jan. 20, 2025, at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Old Union Cemetery.
