Bevill State launches online workforce certification program

HAMILTON — Bevill State Community College is excited to announce the launch of Bevill State CertifyNow: Fast-Track Your Success. This new initiative offers a wide variety of online workforce certification training programs. These convenient options allow students to take classes on their time, from any device, from any location. Interested individuals can learn more about the available programs at BSCC.edu/CertifyNow.
 
“Bevill State is working hard to increase rapid workforce training opportunities. Bevill State CertifyNow will provide a simple and convenient option for individuals seeking an industry-recognized credential that will improve their potential to earn a living wage,” said Dr. Joel Hagood, president of Bevill State Community College. “This will make it easier for students that have to work or have family obligations to pursue the career in which they are interested.”  
 Career track certifications are currently available in the following fields:
Healthcare, including classes for dialysis technician, EKG technician, electronic health records management and veterinary assistant; Healthcare in Spanish including classes for clinical medical assistant, EKG technician, medical billing and coding and phlebotomy technician; Software, IT and Web Development including classes for Adobe Design suite, agile project management, certified ethical hacker, cloud database administrator for MS Azure, data science fundamentals with Pythn, front-end web developer, full stack web developer with MEAN stack, full state web developer with Ruby on Rails, LPI Linux systems administrator and machine learning with Python; Skilled Trades and Technology including classes for  appliance repair technician, introduction to building trades and technology and plumbing technician; Business, Management and Accounting, including classes for associate professional in human resources, organizational behavior professional, professional bookkeeper with QuickBooks and professional in human resources; Project Management and Quality Assurance, including classes for agile project management, Lean Six Sigma, project management professional, project management specialist, risk management professional, Six Sigma black belt and Six Sigma green belt; Law with classes including contract specialist, paralegal professional and real estate law; Criminal Justice with classes including homeland security specialist, juvenile justice specialist and law enforcement professional; and Digital Arts with classes including photography entrepreneur and photography professional with Adobe Photoshop.
The Bevill State Division of Workforce Solutions is designed to be a flexible and responsive resource providing comprehensive workforce development training and education, as well as customized and targeted training to business and industry for continual employee development.
