All I know is what I read in the newspapers

“All I know is what I read in the newspapers,” was said by Will Rogers who was also from Oklahoma. He also said, “Politics has got so expensive that it takes lots of money to even get beat with.”
After reading Ms. Kirkpatrick’s letter to the editor on April 12, 2023, I was left with little doubt about the team she belonged to. It read like a team that wants readers to hate the rules teams should live by. Like the first amendment, or a team that wants no bail for arrested people, or anyone to own a gun. She seems to favor politicians that hide in basements while campaigning for public offices and seems to favor politicians who make secret deals with a foreign country that hates the United State of America, which they have hated America for an exceptionally long time. What happened to team US of A?
I saw that the paper used three separate pages to complete her letter to the editor. The phrase “We don’t make the news-we just print it” seemed to have a different meaning when three pages are used to print a “Letter to the Editor.” Do you wonder how many readers got past the first page? The only person that would know is the one keeping score for their team. But not for both teams. Just theirs.
