HAMILTON - North Mississippi Health Services hospitals in Hamilton and Tupelo, Amory, Eupora, Iuka, Pontotoc and West Point, Miss., have been recognized with a 2021 Premier QUEST Hero Award.
The QUEST Hero Award recognizes NMHS hospitals for their exemplary efforts to act nimbly and quickly evolve care and operations in the face of extraordinary circumstances presented by the pandemic.
The award comes from Premier Inc., a health care improvement and technology company. QUEST is Premier’s quality improvement collaborative, which includes more than 150 hospitals and health systems working together to improve outcomes, performance and safety – ultimately enabling higher-quality, more cost-effective health care.
Award recipients demonstrated innovation; a commitment to safe, quality patient care; swift, sweeping action; and exemplary leadership during the global crisis.
