Moore named president of APA board of directors

HALEYVILLE - Mid-South Newspapers Publisher Horace Moore is the new president of the Alabama Press Association Board of Directors.
Moore assumed the top leadership position of the state press association on Saturday, Feb. 9.
Concerning this new role, the long-time newspaper man said, “I am humbled and honored to serve as president of the Alabama Press Association this year. I think common sense goes a long way in what we do  for  Alabama newspapers through the association. That includes doing the right thing, which is something I have tried to do with my newspapers.”
