Robert Keith McMillan

Robert Keith McMillan, 81, of Winfield, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026, in the North Mississippi Health Services in Tupelo. Robert was born on March 10, 1945, in Lindbergh, Ala., to Francis and Kathleen DeLay McMillan.
Robert was a 1963 graduate of Winfield High School and faithfully worshipped with Guin Church of God. Robert was co-owner of several coal mines throughout the area for more than 26 years. He enjoyed watching Alabama football, quail hunting, playing dominoes and Rook and photography. Most of all, he cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. One of his special joys was teaching Lennox how to whittle.
Mr. McMillan is survived by his wife, Marilyen McMillan; his sons, Keith McMillan (Annette), Wade McMillan (Tabatha) and Brock McMillan; his grandchildren, Jesi McMillan Morgan (Scott), Laikon McMillan and Lane McMillan; his step granddaughter, Ashley Bowen (John); his great-grandchildren, John Asher McMillan, Ally Scott Morgan and Lennox Guyton; his step grandson, Gaige McCollum; his sisters-in-law, Alice McMillan and Carol Peoples; his brother-in-law Charles Huguley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
In addition to his parents, Mr. McMillan was preceded in death by his brothers, James Lloyd Peoples and Hoyt Wayne McMillan; and his sister-in-law, Sue Huguley.
Funeral services for Mr. McMillan will be held on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026, at 2 p.m. at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-2 service time at the funeral home.
