Donna Palmateer Newsome, 75, of Steelville, Mo., formerly of Guin, passed away Friday, June 20, 2025, in Steelville.
Born April 13, 1950, she is the daughter of the late Allen Paul and Margie Raye Jones Palmateer. She worked at Health-Tex and lived in Steelville the past 26 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Donia Lynn Newsome of Mississippi, four sons, Evan Eugene (Teresa) Newsome of Blountsville, Ala., James Allen (Melinda) Newsome and Andy Wayne Newsome, all of Hamilton, and Jeff Boatright of Lubbock, Texas; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Kell and Wanda Clark of Lakeland, Fla.
Funeral services were held June 28, 2025, at the Veal Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Guin City Cemetery. Bro. Kenny Hatcher officiated.
