Timmy Warren

Timmy Warren, 52, of Winfield, Ala., passed away on Monday, Aug. 31, 2026, at NMMC in Tupelo, Miss.  He was born on July 15, 1974, in Hamilton, to the late Bobby Gene Warren and Ruthie Mae Hawkins Warren.  
Timmy attended Marion County High School. He previously worked for several logging companies. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially going hunting and fishing. He also was a race car enthusiast and loved watching the races. Timmy was known to be an avid Alabama fan. His gentle spirit and loving heart will forever be cherished and never forgotten by all who loved and knew him.
Timmy is survived by his mother, Ruthie Howton of Winfield; sisters, Sherry Kay Hendrix (James) and Karen Warren, all of Winfield; nephews, Phillip Warren, Kevin Warren, Nathan Warren (Misty), Heath Nix (Makala) and Blake Nix (Clayton); niece, Ashley Duckworth; and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews.
Timmy is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Gene Warren and his stepfather, J.D. Howton.
Funeral services were held on Sept. 3, 2026, at the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Liberty FWB Church Cemetery.  Bro. Tom Nix Sr. officiated.
Pallbearers were Heath Nix, Blake Nix, Nathan Warren, Kevin Warren, Ashley Duckworth and Petey Pratt. Honorary pallbearers were Gary Dale Hawkins, Dale Hawkins and Phillip Warren.
