HAMILTON — The Hamilton Lady Aggies Track & Field team may not have been able to grab a state championship title for their team, but they are still a team of champions.

Lady Aggies take on Priceville in Hanceville

The Hamilton Lady Aggies traveled to Wallace State Community College in Hanceville on Monday, Feb. 19, to play against the Priceville Lady Bulldogs in the semi-final round of the AHSAA 4A Girls’ Regional Tournament.
It was a close game, but in the end, the Lady Aggies’ season came to an end after they lost to the Lady Bulldogs 47-42. Priceville would go on to lose to eventual 4A girls’ state champion Good Hope 62-44 in the regional final.
The Lady Aggies ended their season with a record of 25-6.

Lady Aggies fall to rivals Haleyville

HALEYVILLE — It was a battle to the finish, but the Lady Lions of Haleyville were able to hold off a charge by the Hamilton Aggies to claim an 8-7 victory Wednesday, April 12.
Hamilton was the first team to cross home plate, with Tesney Peoples doing the honors in the top of the first inning. Haleyville came roaring back in the bottom of the inning, with Maddie Wilson getting a home run on a fly ball to left field, bringing Hope Swims and Abby Tidwell home with her and giving the Lady Lions a 3-1 lead.

Hamilton vs.
Marion County
The Hamilton Lady Aggies defeated the Marion County Lady Red Raiders in a game that lasted just five innings on Thursday, April 14 in Hamilton.
Hamilton won the game 11-0, keeping the Lady Red Raiders off of the scoreboard and keeping them to very few hits.
Hamilton scored just one run in the first two innings of the game, but in the bottom of the third inning, they began to let fly from the plate.

Lady Aggies secure Section 3 Championship

The Hamilton High School girls outdoor track and field team were named the Class 4A, Section 3 Champions in Winfield on April 24, where they faced 14 other teams.
