Joshua Childers

Joshua Childers, 50, of Guin, Ala., passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, at his residence.  Born June 29, 1976, in Opelika, he is the son of Janis Webb Randolph and the late Harvie Roy Childers.
Joshua was a graduate of Marion County High School, class of 1995, and attended the University of North Alabama and received a track scholarship to Athens State University. He worked as a service advisor in the automotive industry.
He is survived by his mother, Janis Webb Randolph; a nephew, Tanner Ryan; a great-niece, Abigail Ryan; and brothers, Jon and Ken Randolph.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, David Childers.
Funeral services were held on Sept. 27, 2026, at the Grace Church with burial in the Guin City Cemetery. Bro. Shannon Knight and Grant Webb officiated. Pallbearers were Justin Sappington, Lance Atkinson, Micah Mayo, Bryan Casey, Ellis Belk, Chris Lipsey, Ryan Lolley and Shannon Lolley.
