Tigers ground Eagles in the rain 43-0

BRILLIANT — The Brilliant Tigers shut out the visiting Sumiton Christian Eagles 43-0 on Friday night, Sept. 13.
The game was originally scheduled to take place at Sumiton Christian but was relocated to Brilliant.
Despite the Tigers’ high score, the game remained scoreless until later that night. The Tigers took over downs a couple of minutes in and made good progress but failed to make it across the 10-yard mark on fourth down and turned the ball over.
The Eagles also failed to move the chains after getting the ball back and punted.
The Tigers had the ball as the second quarter began but once again came up short.
