Christmas has come, gone, charity still needs $7,242

HAMILTON - With gifts already purchased, delivered and opened by 442 children, Christmas for Kids is still needing $7,242.29 to meet its $40,000 funding goal.
For the week-period ending on Thursday, Dec. 27, a total of $3,405 was donated toward this year’s Christmas for Kids campaign. To date, that charity has now collected $32,757.71.
Charity organizer Sandy Sandlin said that fundraising is still underway to pay for the gifts purchased and delivered.

For the week-period ending on Thursday, Dec. 20, a total of $6,057 was donated toward this year’s Christmas for Kids campaign. To date, that charity has now collected $29,352.71.

Christmas for Kids update

HAMILTON - For the week ending on Wednesday, Nov. 21, a total of $5,005.26 has been donated toward this year’s Christmas for Kids campaign.
Sandy Sandlin, coordinator of the campaign, says this year’s goal is $40,000 to help purchase holiday gifts for more than 400 children.
“We are still needing around $35,000 more,” said Sandlin. “I hope this will raise awareness.”
All of the money will go toward buying clothing and shoes for children.

Christmas for Kids update

HAMILTON - A total of $3,365 has been donated toward this year’s Christmas for Kids campaign as of Friday, Nov. 9.
Sandy Sandlin, coordinator of the campaign, says this year’s goal is $40,000 to help purchase holiday gifts for 444 children. The charity will spend $90 per child.
“We’re off to a good start,” Sandlin said.
All of the money will go toward buying clothing and shoes for children.
Records kept since 1985 show that over $790,000 have been raised and 10,621 children have been helped over the lifetime of the organization.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas for Kids

HAMILTON - ‘Tis the season for Christmas for Kids to partner once again with the Marion County Department of Human Resources and Christ Community Fellowship to help distribute hundreds of Christmas gifts to children in need.
Officially launching in 1985, the charity is celebrating 34 years of generosity this year.
Prior to 2014, Christmas for Kids was helping provide Christmas gifts to children throughout Marion County courtesy of donations received from county and area residents.
