HAMILTON — Dr. Patrick Sutton is now officially the superintendent of Marion County Schools. He was sworn in by 25th Circuit Court Judge Daryl Burt at Xtra Events and Parties on Thursday, Jan. 2.
Before being sworn in, Sutton thanked those in attendance for their support.
“This has been a long journey just to get to this point, and we’re just really getting started,” Sutton said. “It’s a blessing. I appreciate all of your support. We have tremendous employees in Marion County, and I’m excited to move forward. I’m surrounded by great people.”
