Tigers trampled by Stallions 45-14

MILLPORT — The Brilliant Tigers traveled to Millport Friday night, Oct. 18, and lost to the South Lamar Stallions 45-14.
The Stallions were the first to score in the first quarter and were leading 7-0 with a few minutes before the second quarter. They almost scored again before the end of the quarter, but a flag brought it back.
In the second quarter, the Stallions scored on their first play from the one-yard line, leading 14-0 with 11:56 until halftime.
The Tigers made a drive to put some points on the board but were held to fourth down and turned the ball over on downs after an incomplete pass on a fourth and long situation.
