REFORM — The Brilliant Tigers struggled to gain defensive shape this past Friday as they lost to Pickens County by a large margin.
The Pickens County Tornadoes won the game 52-0 against the Tigers on the night.
Brilliant’s main problem defensively was stopping the Tornadoes from rushing past their defenses.
The opposition scored five rushing touchdowns, running 197 yards total in the game.
Three of the touchdowns came from Pickens County senior Elijah Merriweather.
One touchdown came from receiver Santonio Jones, who had 22 receiving yards in the game.
The Tigers will be looking for redemption in their next game against region opponents Marion County High School.
The two will go head to head on Thursday this week at 7 p.m. at Brilliant High School.
