GUIN — The city of Guin set up a $500,000 line of credit for 120 days during its Aug. 5 meeting to help cover expenses on an ALDOT grant for Sawmill Road.

WINFIELD — Alabama Governor Kay Ivey’s office announced that the City of Winfield would be receiving over $1 million in ATRIP-II funding to go toward road and sewer projects related to the incoming Pilot Travel Center on State Highway 129.
