Bevill State to host Dual Enrollment Parent Meetings

Bevill State Community College invites high school students and their guardians to attend its upcoming Dual Enrollment Parent Meetings. These sessions are open to all high school students — including homeschooled students — and will provide valuable information on eligibility req-
uirements and the academic and career advantages of dual enrollment.
The Dual Enrollment program at BSCC allows high school students to take college-level courses while earning high school and college credit simultaneously. Students can choose from academic transfer, health sciences or career technical education pathways, helping them reduce the time and cost of earning a college degree.
"Dual enrollment is one of the most valuable opportunities we offer to high school students and their families, and these meetings are the perfect place to learn how to take full advantage of it," stated Bevill State Community College President Dr. Joel Hagood. "No matter where your students' interests and passions lie, we want to help them find their career pathway. I invite every family with a rising sophomore, junior and senior for the 2026-2027 school year to join us and discover how dual enrollment at Bevill State can give students a meaningful head start on their college journey."

The Dual Enrollment Parent Meeting schedule is as follows:
•    Fayette Campus – Monday, March 16, 2026, 6-7 p.m.;
•    Jasper Campus – Tuesday, March 17, 2026, 6-7 p.m.;
•    Hamilton Campus – Thursday, March 19, 2026, 6-7 p.m.; and
•    Online (Zoom) – Tuesday, March 31, 2026, 6-7 p.m.

The meetings will include an overview of BSCC’s Dual Enrollment offerings and a question-and-answer session, giving attendees the opportunity to speak directly with college representatives.
