Estes named Alabama Arts Alliance Legislator of the Year

BIRMINGHAM – Rep. Tracy Estes (R-Winfield) has been honored by the Alabama Arts Alliance as the statewide organization’s Legislator of the Year, based on his dedication to arts education in schools and his love and devotion to the students served as a result.

BIRMINGHAM — The Marion County High School Lady Red Raiders are the 1A girls state runners-up after losing the state final to Spring Garden 63-31 on Thursday, Feb. 29. The appearance in the state final marked the fourth in a row for the Lady Raiders, which included one state championship title.

BIRMINGHAM – For the fourth season in a row, the Marion County High School Lady Red Raiders will be playing in the final round of the 1A girls’ state basketball playoffs tomorrow night.
