Reba Wiginton Shotts, 96, of Hamilton, Ala., passed away on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Hamilton on Sept. 24, 1929, to her parents, Alvin Wiginton and Lily Mae Ridings Wiginton.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Michael Shotts (wife, Deanna);
daughter, Deborah Nichols (husband, Bruce); grandchildren, Rebekah Wiginton (husband, Brian), Ben Shotts, Ashley Jacobs (husband, Chris) and Dallas Nichols; great-grandchildren, Meg Wiginton, Jane Wiginton, Anne Wiginton and Harley Jacobs; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Rex Shotts; parents, Alvin and Lily Mae Wiginton; siblings, Max, Maurice and Robbie.
Funeral services were held on Feb. 19, 2026, at the Marion County Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Armbrester officiating. The interment followed at Hamilton Memory Gardens.
