Henry Butler

Henry Butler, 95, of Guin, passed away Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, in the Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Guin. Born September 23, 1930, in Etowah County, Ala., he is the son of the late William Henry and Beatrice Wood Butler, and the husband of  the late Kathryn Lovvorn  Butler.
He had lived in Guin most of his life and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Guin. He was a Veteran of the Korean War, having served in the U.S. Navy and retired from the 3M Company after working 33 years.
He is survived by his son, Stephen (Teresa) Butler of Tuscaloosa; his daughters, Donna Bozeman of Guin and Nina (Clint) Butler of Lake View; seven grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchildren who carry forward his legacy and spirit.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathryn; his son, Randall; his parents, William Henry Butler and Beatrice Wood Butler; and his brother, Jack Butler.  
Funeral services were held on Feb. 9, 2026, at the Veal Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens. Bro. Zane Miles officiated.
