HAMILTON — Wade Williams is a visionary leader committed to community growth and is seeking to be your next mayor of Hamilton.
The role of mayor is one of the most visible and impactful in local government, a position requiring vision, dedication and a deep connection to the community.
As someone who has previously had the privilege of serving as your mayor and city councilman, he possesses an impressive track record of leadership and a heartfelt passion for driving sustainable progress and enhancing the quality of life for all residents.
Wade is married to Vicki Nichols Williams, with two children: Jessica and Jordan. As a 1982 graduate of Hamilton High School and the current owner of Williams Glass Company, he has roots that run deep in the community.
Wade is highly knowledgeable and skilled in leadership and management. Over the years, he has worked hard to listen, lead with integrity and make decisions that reflect the values we all share.
Wade has a vision for the city that is both ambitious and attainable. His plan includes fostering a robust local economy by supporting small businesses, as well as existing industries, attracting sustainable industries, supporting our local hospital and collaborating with Bevill State to ensure a dedicated and skilled workforce.
A key priority is the development of the city's interstate exits and the I-22 Industrial Park, along with upgrading infrastructure across all city departments.
Wade's record speaks volumes about his dedication to public service. As mayor and councilman, he was instrumental in the relocation of Tombigbee Electric, purchasing the current city hall, downtown revitalization, splashpad, canoe launch, free Air Evac service and upgrades to equipment and roads in the city.
In Wade Williams, the city has a leader who embodies experience, integrity, and a future-focused mindset. He is not just running for office,  but is on a mission to build a stronger and more prosperous community for everyone.
With a collaborative approach and steadfast dedication, he stands ready to deliver on the promise of progress, leaving a legacy of positive change.
