Francine brings lots of rain

MARION COUNTY — Tropical Depression Francine might have dumped significant rainfall on Marion County, but officials say it did little damage.
Hurricane Francine began as a tropical storm on Sept. 9, then made landfall as a category 2 hurricane on Wednesday, Sept. 11, in Louisiana.
Francine caused flooding and damage in coastal areas near its landfall, but weakened as it traveled deeper inland, bringing storms to Marion County beginning on Thursday.
