BRILLIANT — The Brilliant Tigers were shut out 22-0 by the Pickens County Tornadoes on Friday night, Sept. 20.

FLORENCE — The Phillips Bears defeated the Shoals Christian Flame 29-14 at Florence on Friday night, Sept. 20.

WINFIELD — The Winfield Pirates used a steady rushing attack and stifling defense to upset Class 3A’s second-ranked Gordo Greenwave 28-7 in Winfield on Friday, Sept. 13.

BEAR CREEK — The Bears may have started out on the prowl, but it was the Tigers who had the final growl, as Meek soundly defeated Phillips 37-8 in a Friday the 13th regional victory.

GUIN — The Marion County High School Red Raiders fought through the rain and mud to beat the South Lamar Stallions 24-14 on Friday night, Sept. 13.

DORA — The Hamilton Aggies suffered their first loss of the season in a close away game against the Dora Bulldogs this past Friday.

HACKLEBURG — As the remnants of Hurricane Francine passed above on Friday evening, Sept. 13, the Hackleburg Panthers were able to stay dry as they shut out the visiting Waterloo Cougars for a 40-0 region win. The Panthers kept the ball in the air during most of the game for the win, which currently makes them 3-0, 2-0.

BRILLIANT — The Brilliant Tigers shut out the visiting Sumiton Christian Eagles 43-0 on Friday night, Sept. 13.

HACKLEBURG — The Hackleburg Panthers took on the Meek Tigers Friday night, Sept. 6, and came out victors on a 34-8 win, holding Meek to only one touchdown. By the end of the first quarter, Hackleburg had already racked up three touchdowns.

HAMILTON — The Hamilton Aggies have won their second game in a row as they faced off against the Cordova Blue Devils in their first home game of the season Friday, Sept. 6.
