Tigers shut out Cougars 64-0

BRILLIANT — The Brilliant Tigers shut out the Waterloo Cougars 64-0 in their first regular season game on Friday night, Aug. 25.
The victory marks the Tigers’ first regular season win after last year’s 0-10 season, which set the record for losses in a single season.
Brilliant’s number three, Brooks McLemore, was the first Tiger to score with a successful end zone run with 8:41 left in the first quarter.
Ahead 6-0 after a missed kick, the Tigers maintained a relentless pace, rarely stepping foot on their own side of the 50 yard line.
