BRILLIANT — The Brilliant Tigers were shut out 22-0 by the Pickens County Tornadoes on Friday night, Sept. 20.
Heavy defense and wet field conditions were on display as both teams struggled to score until later into the game.
The first quarter saw the ball change hands multiple times on turnovers and fumble recoveries, but no touchdowns for either side.
The second quarter began with more of the same. Several minutes in, the Tornadoes started to make steady progress toward the Tigers’ goal line.
