Larry Warren Saylor

Mr. Larry Warren Saylor, 69, of Winfield, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024, at his residence.
Larry was born in Pineville, Ky., on April 12, 1955, to Warren Gilbert and Mary Stewart Saylor. He was a graduate of Pekin Eastern High School in Pekin, Ill. After graduation he attended IU Southeast University where he earned his degree in Biblical Studies and Seminary. Larry spent 45 years pastoring area churches, evangelizing and teaching the gospel. When he wasn’t pastoring Larry worked as a sales manager in the auto sales industry. He was known for having three loves in his life; the Lord, family and friends, and cars. In his spare time Larry enjoyed riding Harleys and was an avid golfer.
Larry is survived by his wife of 50 years, Crystal Saylor; two sons, David Saylor and wife Ashley and their children, Avary, Addison, and Hudson, and Christopher Saylor and wife Hannah and their sons, Troy, Brantley, and Maverick; his brothers, Pastor Harry Saylor and his wife Sandra, and Ray Saylor and his wife Theresa; his aunt, Shirley Stewart Cargile; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Mary Saylor and grandparents, Levi and Rosie Saylor, and Harry and Ida Stewart.
Funeral services were held on Dec. 12, 2024, from the St. Johns Pentecostal Church in Georgetown, Ind., with burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery.
