Dr. Gary Dane Randolph, 86, of Guin, passed away Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024, at his residence.
Born July 19, 1938, in Winfield, he is the son of the late William Riley and Annie Earl Earnest Randolph and the husband of Janis Webb Randolph. He had lived in Guin most of his life and owned and operated Randolph Chiropractic Clinic for 60 years. He was also a member of the Elks Club, the Masonic Lodge and the Civitans. He was president of the Alabama Chiropractor Examiners and received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Alabama Chiropractors. He was inducted into the Marion County Sports Hall Of Fame. He had served on the Guin Industrial Board, the water board and served seven terms on the Guin City Council. He also built three subdivisions in Guin.
He is survived by his wife, Janis Webb Randolph of Guin; children, Kenneth (Angie) Randolph of Northport, Jon (Stephanie) Randolph of Atlanta, Ga., and Josh Childers of Guin; six grandchildren, Scott, Paige, Taylor, Tia, Josh and Tanner; and four great-grandchildren, Kade, Andrew, Parker and Noah.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Tia Randolph; and a stepson, David Childers.
Funeral services were held Sept. 25, 2024, at Grace Church with burial in the Guin City Cemetery. Bro. Shannon Knight and Bro. David Allison officiated. Pallbearers were Bob Hankins, Robert Pyron, Steve Pollard, Ralph Lolley, Tony Hayes, Max Maddox, Dan Fowler and Doug Todd.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Church.
