Jackson-to-Loving late pass gives Aggies comeback win

HAMILTON - After leading for most of the game, the scoreboard changed in visiting Cordova’s favor, 14-13, at the 4:48 mark of the fourth quarter.
The game had been a defensive struggle throughout, but homestanding Hamilton still had time and all the Aggies had to do was, find their way into the end zone--86 yards away.
Senior Aggie quarterback Jathan Jackson and his teammates went to work, sealing the victory with 55 seconds remaining in the game when Jackson connected with Bryant Loving from 10 yards out for the touchdown.
The win puts the Aggies at 1-0 on the season and sees them entertaining Class 5, Region 7 foe West Point (1-1) this Friday night, Sept. 6, in Sargent Stadium. The Warriors are 1-1 in 2019 after defeating Fairview 14-8 in Week 1 and losing to Arab 49-35 last week.
