Arrie Ovelene Taylor

Arrie Ovelene Taylor, 89, of Hamilton, Ala., passed away Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026. She was born on March 30, 1937, in Vina, Ala., to the late Clarence and Rosa Tyra Emerson.
Survivors include, husband, Tommie Hugh Taylor; daughters, Tammy (Lamar) Danley and Tena (Brett) Taylor; grandchildren, Trent (Rebecca) Danley, Heather Danley and Carly (Blake) Mitchell;  great-grandchildren, Jane Danley, Kate Danley and John Danley; siblings, Jesse (Barbara) Emerson, Evelyn (Mack) Williams, Jospeh (Sue) Emerson, Darlene (Melvin) Dotson and Nelda Emerson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Nello Emerson, Billy Emerson, Arlon Emerson, Angel Holley and Lillie Miller.
Graveside services were held on Sept. 12, 2026, at Shottsville Cemetery.
