Barbara Ann Griffin, 80, of Winfield, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026.
Barbara Ann loved her horses and horseback riding, playing and coaching softball and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Brian (Summer) Tucker of Winfield, Scott Tucker of Northport and Merita Arnold of Winfield; her grandchildren, Keifer Slade Tucker (Mea), Adriene Suzanne Tucker, Kaleigh McKenzie Piper (Jeff), James Garrett Arnold, Dakota Lane Arnold (Sophia), Rylei Faith Arnold, Kyle Pedersen, Kade Pedersen, Kearsten Pedersen, Bradley Comeens (Amber), Kevin Comeens (JoAnne) and Raegan Victoria Johnson (Ethan); great-grandchildren, Everly Lane, Laney Marie and Paisley Rae Arnold, Kenzleigh Grace Piper, Gunner, Reed, Adalie, Chloie and Judah Comeens and Madison Dunagan; great-great-grandchildren, Colter, Maddox, Marlee, Austyn and Palmer; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl “Bud” Smith and Jewell Hall Smith; her children, Daniel Hoyt Tucker and Jamie Leann Pedersen; her siblings, Bob, Gaylon, Bill and Johnny Smith, Joyce Colburn and Hazel Christian; two great-grandchildren, Carsen and Bralyn Owens; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Cavender Tucker; and son-in-law, William Arnold. 
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026, at 6 p.m. at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in the Winfield City Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Brother Frankie Miller will officiate.
