North Mississippi Health Services names Morrow chief operating officer

North Mississippi Health Services recently announced the appointment of Shawn Morrow as chief operating officer, effective Aug. 31. In this role, Morrow will provide executive leadership for system operations across all eight NMHS hospitals and related clinics, service lines and joint ventures, helping advance the organization's mission to continuously improve the health of the people of our region.

NMMC patients can now see a doctor online

HAMILTON - Need to see an urgent care provider but do not want to risk your health?
Patients can now visit with a physician via a computer or on a smartphone.
The feature is being provided through the North Mississippi Health Services’ (NMHS) myConnection portal. NMHS operates North Mississippi Medical Center (NMMC) facilities in Hamilton and Tupelo, Miss.
On NMHS’ webpage, it notes that virtual care is recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as a way to get care and advice from your trusted health care provider.
