Tommy Wayne Henderson

Mr. Tommy Wayne Henderson, 85, of Winfield, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at his residence. Mr. Henderson was born in Winfield, Ala., on April 30, 1941, to Alfred and Pearl Smith Henderson.
Tommy was a lifelong resident of the Winfield area, including the Glen Allen area where he lived for the past 45 years. Tommy graduated from Winfield City High School and went on to attend the University of Alabama, where he earned a degree in business administration. He attended Winfield Methodist Church.
Tommy began his career as a sales manager for Continental Conveyor and later founded North Alabama Title Company, where he served as owner and president for over 40 years. His leadership extended into public service as well, as he served as a former mayor of Glen Allen, contributing greatly to the community he loved.
Mr. Henderson is survived by his wife of 44 years, Diane Henderson; his son, Patrick Henderson and his wife, Stacie; his grandsons, Levi and Landon Henderson; his great-grandchildren, Asher and Jaiden Henderson; and a host of other family members and friends.
Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by his parents; and his sisters, Tena Henderson Pollard and Linda Henderson.
A private graveside service will be held for Mr. Henderson at Winfield City Cemetery.
