Missy Lovett

Missy Lovett, 47, of Guin, passed away Monday, Aug. 18, 2025, at Baptist Health - Walker Hospital in Jasper. Born April 24, 1978, Missy was a beloved wife, mother, mawmaw, daughter and friend.
Missy attended Winfield High School. She was employed by Marion County Schools for many years as a substitute teacher and secretary before assuming the role of Guin’s assistant librarian within Marion County High School. Later, she went on to obtain her LPN from Bevill State Community College. She was currently caring for patients at her local hospital NMHS-South Marion in Winfield, while actively pursuing her RN. The greatest joy in Missy’s life though was her family. She loved to cook and host family gatherings.
She was the loving wife of Andy Lovett and mother to their three children, Samantha Kimbrough (Hayden), Corey Lovett (Makenzie) and Madeline Lovett; devoted mawmaw to Stella Jane Kimbrough, Easton Kimbrough and Preston Lovett; and beloved daughter of Randy Kimbrell. She is also survived by many other family and friends who she loved greatly.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
