Carrie Ann Tucker
Carrie Ann Tucker, 67, of Winfield, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle. She was born on June 12, 1958, to Robert and Louise Hall Flippo.
Carrie was a devoted member of New Life Fellowship Church. After high school, she attended Bevill State Community College, proudly becoming part of the first graduating nursing class. Excelling in her studies, she graduated at the top of her class with Summa Cum Laude honors, earning her degree as a registered nurse. Throughout her career, Carrie brought comfort to patients in several area hospitals and hospice facilities before her retirement. Outside of her professional life, Carrie found joy in tending her garden and yard with love and earning Yard of the Year honors in her neighborhood. She also enjoyed listening to music, practicing calligraphy, cooking, sewing and quilting and spending time with her family .
Carrie is survived by her daughters, Robin Tucker Kirk (Chris), Crystal Gail Tucker and Rebekah Tucker Carpenter (Jay); her grandchildren, Joseph Matthew Lynn II, Gavin Lane Brown, Hannah Jenson Ginn, Alexis Elaine Guy and Ava Kathryn Carpenter; her great-grandson Elijah Mason Ginn; her sister, Marilyn Johnston; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Edward Tucker; her parents; and siblings, Bob and Frankie Flippo and Wanda Camp.
Funeral services for Mrs. Tucker will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 2 p.m. at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in the White Springs Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
